Matt, I really like the way you’re handling Substack. You have a good mix of free content (for we cheapskates) and premium content for your paid subscribers to keep things interesting. It’s also nice to be able to comment on your free stuff. Many other authors have all their stuff behind the paywall and won’t even allow the free people to READ comments, let alone write them. That’s why I’m now paring my Substack list back to people like you. And don’t even get me started on people who are using the new BANNER feature that stays at the top of your window and blocks ⅓ of the reading area…
