After months of not being given any respect from his party, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. plans to jump the Democrat Ship and launch an independent bid for president on October 9, according to a report from Mediate.

“Bobby feels that the DNC is changing the rules to exclude his candidacy so an independent run is the only way to go,” a Kennedy campaign insider told the outlet.

Kennedy’s anticipated departure from the Democratic primary complicates the 2024 presidential election. And it may not be how most people think.
