President Donald Trump unloaded on Bill Maher in a baffling Truth Social post on Sunday night, just weeks after hosting the HBO host for dinner at the White House.
The post ran more than 1,300 words, and CNN reported that it is the longest one Trump has ever written.
“Let’s talk about this COMPLETE AND TOTAL LOSER, Bill Maher,” Trump wrote. “He’s got a Low Rated Show on equally Low Rated HBO, which was once, long ago, a Network of Quality and Excitement — But that’s all gone. It’s not ‘HOT’ anymore!”
Earlier this month, Trump sat down with Maher at the White House for the second time, with Stephen A. Smith and Kid Rock along for the evening. Afterward, Trump told reporters Maher was “great” and that it “was a very informative dinner.”
Now the story has changed, and I don’t like it.
