Polls Won't Determine The Outcome Of This Election
I’d be lying if I said that this election wasn’t stressing me out. Heck, even before Joe Biden dropped out and Trump appeared headed for a landslide victory, I was stressed. When Biden finally left the race, Trump only had a three-point lead in the RealClearPolitics average. We’ve seen candidates with bigger deficits come back and win.
It’s my job as a political columnist to pay attention to what’s going on in U.S. politics. As such, I immerse ourselves in polls, projections, and betting markets, seeking any insight into what might unfold on Election Day.
But they don’t matter.
