McCarthy Announces Impeachment Inquiry Into Joe Biden’s Corruption
On Tuesday morning, House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) announced that the House of Representatives is opening an impeachment inquiry against President Joe Biden.
"We have found that President Biden did lie about his own knowledge of his family's foreign business dealings," McCarthy explained, citing evidence uncovered by the House Oversight Committee, including testimony that Joe Biden "joined on multiple phone calls — and multiple interactions — with Hunter's business partners," as well as incriminating financial records.
"Bank records show that nearly $20 million in payments were directed to the Biden's family members and associates through various shell companies," McCarthy continued. “The Treasury Department alone has more than 150 transactions involving the Biden family and other business associates that were flagged as suspicious activity by U.S. banks.”
McCarthy added that "Even a trusted FBI informant has alleged a bribe to the Biden family," a reference to the FD-1023 form that the Biden administration attempted to prevent the House Oversight Committee from seeing.
In addition to these allegations, McCarthy pointed out that Joe Biden’s family “has been offered special treatment by Biden's own administration," in reference to Hunter Biden, who has been under investigation for years and nearly got a Get Out of Jail Free card by the Department of Justice.
Reps. James Comer (R-Ky.), Jason Smith (R-Mo.), Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) will lead the investigation.
It’s about time.
