Have you noticed a trend lately? Democrats have desperately tried to keep Trump from returning to the White House. They have literally abused the justice system in the hopes of making him unelectable. The result? His poll numbers in the GOP primary have gotten stronger, and Trump beats Biden in the last three national match-up polls tracked by Real Clear Politics.
The 2024 election rematch between Trump and Biden is a statistical tie. However, according to the latest Reuters/Ipsos poll, Trump has a solid lead in the battleground states crucial to determining the outcome of the 2020 election. Trump leads by six points in Georgia, Arizona, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Nevada, and Michigan, meaning that if the poll is correct and the election was today, Trump would crush Joe Biden in the Electoral College vote 312 to 226. And the left is likely responsible for this.
Sure, the economy is terrible, and polls show voters blame Joe Biden, but the Democrats’ efforts to block Trump from returning to the White House have also energized his base.
CNN interviewed voters in several states and found that the indictments have hardened their support for him
In more than 40 interviews with CNN in Iowa, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Alabama, South Dakota and Texas, Trump supporters said the 91 criminal charges in four separate cases against him have only deepened their support of the former president. They repeated Trump’s unfounded claims that he was the subject of a politically motivated “witch hunt” and said they believed the charges showed the system was rigged against him – and, by extension, them.
The way the justice system has been abused to target Trump while protecting Hunter Biden and denying due process to Capitol rioters appears to be helping Trump politically as well.
Trump’s mug shot from his booking at the Fulton County jail in Atlanta has also become a rallying cry for his supporters—a symbol of the political prosecution he’s been subject to.
The day after Trump was booked at the Fulton County jail in Atlanta, his campaign said it had the highest-grossing fundraising day of the entire campaign to date, raising $4.18 million. A few days later, the campaign said it had raked in nearly $3 million off mug shot merchandise alone.
“This is the new ‘Let’s Go Brandon,’” said Sam Smith, a private vendor at Trump’s Rapid City rally, referring to the right-wing slogan used to insult Joe Biden. Smith, who travels around the country to sell merchandise outside the former president’s events, said he made solid money for two years off “Let’s Go Brandon” products.
Longtime Trump supporter Amanda Hamak-Leon bought matching mug shot T-shirts on Amazon that said “WANTED FOR PRESIDENT” for her and her boyfriend to wear to Trump’s rally in Rapid City.
“It really ticked me off,” Hamak-Leon said of Trump’s indictments. “I just feel like now for six-plus years they’ve been going after him with anything that they can, taking shots in the dark. It just makes me like him more that he just keeps going and is not letting this stop him.”
Donald Trump has faced a significant amount of meritless attacks. His first term was clouded mainly by the fake story of Russia collusion—a conspiracy theory for which there was never any evidence. Their endless and baseless attacks can only take them so far. In the end, in 2024, voters remember that things were significantly better than they had been under Joe Biden. While elections have become much closer and decided by fewer votes in a few select states, the unhinged anger and abuse of power by the left may very well propel Trump back into office.
How The Unhinged Left will Elect Trump in 2024
"They repeated Trump’s unfounded claims that he was the subject of a politically motivated “witch hunt”..."
Unfounded. See, media, this is why you have zero credibility.
