Don’t Get Complacent. Democrats Aren't.
If you're a Trump supporter, it’s easy to feel confident heading into this election if you look at things from a certain perspective. Despite being behind in several polls, Trump is polling better against Kamala Harris than he did against Biden in 2020 or even Hillary in 2016. Trump’s popularity has surged, and that’s giving many on the right a sense of optimism in spite of the polls. But before we get too cocky, it’s important to remember: Democrats aren’t giving up, and neither should we.
Why? Because it’s no secret that Kamala Harris’s numbers are historically bad. She's polling worse than any Democrat ever has against Trump, especially among black, Hispanic, and even Jewish voters. This has led some Trump supporters to confidently assume a major Trump victory is on the horizon. I can see why, since blue states like Minnesota and Virginia are showing signs of being competitive.
Obviously, if those states are in play, it suggests Trump is doing well across the board.
Or does it?
