Spin City was a half-hour segment on The Matt Margolis Show where Matt went back to the roots of his early radio experience and played music. Spin City happened at the last half-hour of the show.. Most of the bands featured will be independent label bands from the Boston area, with a few other artists making appearances as well. The decision to introduce the Spin City segment to the show was a difficult one. As great as it is to do a talk show, Matt really missed playing music on the radio. Considering this is his last semester at the University of Hartford, this semester is the last chance for Matt to play music, and since Matt also has a busy schedule, there was no way he'd be able to find another time to do a separate music show, taking a small portion of the show and dedicating to music seemed like a decent idea.
