Go Jenna…

By Matt Margolis | July 13, 2004

More Bush Twin Eye Candy… and an interesting look at the First Twins and First Family:

Jenna said her parents have the “best marriage,” citing as proof that “my dad thinks my mom’s funny even though she’s really not — she’s cute, she has funny quirks.”

Jenna said her mother would tell them to clean their bedrooms. “I call her OCD (obsessive-compulsive disorder) to her face, but I’m glad now because some of it’s rubbed off on me,” she said.

There has sometimes been tension between Bush and the media over coverage of his daughters, especially when both had run-ins with the law over alcohol three years ago.

In an incident in Austin, Texas, in 2001, Barbara was sentenced to perform community service and attend an alcohol awareness class, while Jenna, who had been found with a false ID, was fined $600 and lost her driver’s license for 30 days.

The only “drink” referred to in the Vogue interview are soy lattes, which the twins get at Starbucks .

Oh yeah, my kind of gals! Starbucks…

So now the Washington Post says “it’s open season on the Bush Twins” Hmmm, and THEY claim that theres a Right Wing Attack Machine? Thats the kettle calling a daisy black.

Now you’re just being stupidly ignorant.

Both sides insult and attack each other. Deal with it. It happens. But don’t say that you’re side is clean, because it’s not, and that’s a clear fact.

    Kyle,

The WSP is a main stream respected news organization. They state it’s open season on two girls fresh out of college for supporting their dad. Yet, they refuse to look into the finances of the BILIIONAIRE wife who is helping finance her husbands White House bid. No sir. You are stupd and you are ignorant, and you threw the first insult - as usual. You must be a great democrat!

    …..LOL!

    I’m not even a democrat!

You can’t seem to face up that the right insults the left too. Guess what? When you’re famous, people are going to go after you, and everyone around you. Is it right? Probebly not, but it happens.

But the thing is, it happens to EVERYONE. Get your head out of your ass and stop thinking that your side is perfection incarnate. Now here you are going after Kerry’s wife. What’s the difference between that and Bush’s daughters? Age? Guess what-once you’re over 18, people can talk as much shit about you as they want.

I’d think you’d understand that, since you’re older then I am. I dunno how old you are, but I’d say it’s a pretty safe bet. The real world isn’t a nice, cozy little place. And if you’re family is famous, then people are going to go after you.

What I DON’T understand, is where you get off saying that it’s ONLY one side that does it. Both sides attack each other.

Just answer this question: do you believe that the right never attacks the left unjustly?

  6. Kahn Says:

Kyle - The right does not do the kind of systematic party-wide character assasination that the left does. It simply does not. And the left crys SOOO loud about the Right-wing attack machine - yet they are FAR worse. And, The Bush daughters are simply two campaign workers who happen to be related to the candidate. Tereza Heinz Kerry finances Kerry’s lifestyle, political organizations, and Kerry’s campaig. THAT is the difference (hey, do YOU need a stomach window?)

Oh - yep - I’ll bet I’m older than you. Old enough to remember watching Kerry throwing HIS medals over the fence.

The two of us can argue long and hard on “you’re side hates more then mine does!”

I’m just confused on how, many times, you act like the right NEVER insults the left. I mean, the kettle calling the daisy black?

Hey - I was proud of that one!

Proof positive that Kyle has his head up his ass on this one: When did the Post or any other mainstream publication say “it’s open season on Chelsea” when she hid the road on a campaign trip? While, yes, both sides attack each other, this point is specifically about the children of presidents and presidential candidates. Period. The Republicans, and the media, have always given Chelsea Clinton a pass from day one. Teresa Kerry is, however, fair game because in her position she is able to influence policy decisions.

    Checkmate, Kyle.

Sure they are cute and they have great breasts (which is why we all think they are cute) but why aren’t they serving our country and enlisting in the arms services to help their daddy with his wars?

  13. Kyle Says:

    Checkmate? Hardly.

How much press was there against Hilary?

Please. Now who’s head is up who’s ass?

According to Bill, Hillary was “Co-President”.

    That made her fair game.

Who was it that authored that hideous nightmare of a healthcare plan?

    It sure wasn’t Chelsea.

Another commenter why asked “why aren’t (The Bush twins) they serving our country and enlisting in our arms services to help their daddy with his wars?”

Probably for the same reason that Chesea didn’t enlist to help in her daddy’s wars.

Apologies for idiotic typo: “Another commenter why asked…”

I’m sorry, but being related to the president alone makes you “fair game.”

    Welcome to being famous.
