Among John Kerry’s laughable attempts to mislead the American voter have been his claims to have voted for and against funding for our troops in Iraq, his claim that he doesn’t own an SUV, even though his “family” owns one, and his recent attempt to explain away the 1971 tape where he claimed to have thrown away his medals.

John Kerry as president would make Bill Clinton seem like a model of probity. He is not the sort of leader our country can afford in these times.

Today is Wictory Wednesday. Every Wednesday, dozens of bloggers ask their readers to volunteer and/or donate to the Bush 2004 campaign.

We’re in a global War on Terror and Democrats are determined to lose it.

That’s the harsh truth. In this global war, Democrats like Ted Kennedy relentlessly attack our president, while John Kerry calls Muqtada Sadr’s terrorist militia “legitimate.”

We cannot afford to lose this war. President Bush will prosecute it vigorously and guarantee victory. John Kerry would surrender, like the Spaniards did, giving terrorists victories that will embolden them to murder tens of thousands more innocent civilians all over the world.

We face a stark choice in the 2004 elections: Victory or Defeat.

John Kerry raised over $50 million in the first quarter of this year. That’s a record. He raised $26 million of it over the Internet, another record. All that money is going to be spent on ads bashing President Bush in swing states. In fact, Kerry and shadowy liberal groups funded by limousine liberals like George Soros will outspend President Bush.

The Bush ads are working. Here’s what Gallup has to say about them:

In a survey taken in mid-February, Kerry led Bush by 28 percentage points in [17 swing states where the ads are airing], 63% to 35%. Now Bush leads Kerry in them by six points, 51% to 45%.

In contrast, there has been much less volatility in states where the ads haven’t aired. Kerry held a four-point lead in them in February; Bush holds a two-point lead now.

Running those ads costs money. Every dollar you contribute ensures that several voters in a swing state see an ad exposing Kerry’s ultra-liberal record.

It’s Wictory Wednesday!

Wednesday, March 24th, 2004

John Kerry’s campaign has already raised a record-breaking $15 million over the Internet this month alone! And they’re currently raising a million dollars a day. In fact, Kerry may very well raise a record $100 million before he accepts his party’s nomination at the end of July.

We have to face up to the fact that the Bush campaign is already being outspent on the airwaves by shadowy liberal groups with hundreds of millions of dollars from limousine liberals like George Soros. Add Kerry’s resources and we can expect a formidable barrage of anti-Bush ads on TV for the next several months.

Only you can help fight back against this assault. You have the power to even out the odds and give the Bush campaign the resources it needs to prevent an anti-war protester from becoming president.

Or maybe you’d prefer that President Kerry raise your taxes by a trillion dollars. He has already pledged to veto any attempt by Congress to extend the Bush tax cuts beyond their expiration date.

When Spain’s Socialist, terrorist-appeasing prime minister was campaigning for election, he had this to say:

The first thing I will do when I am elected is to go to the United States and support John Kerry.

It’s obvious that Kerry is the choice of terrorist-appeasing Socialist leaders around the world. But shouldn’t the American people get to decide who the American president should be?

Every dollar you contribute results in several voters in battleground states learning the truth about John Kerry’s ultra-liberal record. In a close election, your contribution may make the difference between defeat and victory. The simplest way for you to fight the War on Terror is to make sure President Bush wins re-election, to make sure that the terrorist-appeasers do not get their way.

Here’s a picture of John Kerry at a Vietnam War protest:

Kerry was a radical, medal-throwing Vietnam war protester who did everything possible to undermine the war effort, even as our soldiers were being shot at. He accused them of committing genocide. He participated in a march where demonstrators threw their medals over the White House wall (Kerry, of course, threw away someone else’s medals.) He worked with Jane Fonda to organize anti-war rallies. The organization he was a member of, Vietnam Veterans Against the War, took the American flag off its offices because its members were offended by the flag.

Now this man wants to be the most powerful man in the world. He wants to be your president. And you know what’s really scary? It could happen!
