Windows Vista Demonstrates Microsoft’s Mac Envy
Tuesday, January 30th, 2007I recently checked out some of the features of the newly released Windows Vista.
I’ve been a loyal Mac user since 2003 (when I made the switch from PC) and couldn’t help being amused how the new features of Windows Vista are echoes of features that us Mac users have been enjoying for years.
Windows Flip 3D is is a pathetic imitation of Apple’s Exposé.
Windows Sidebar and Gadgets is a pathetic imitation of Apple’s Dashboard.
Windows Instant Search is a pathetic imitation of Apple’s Spotlight.
There are other obvious pathetic imitations of Macintosh’s iTunes, iPhoto, etc., etc. It’s really laughable. Microsoft ought to be ashamed that after 5+ years of waiting for Windows Vista that they couldn’t even produce something original, instead they’ve offered a cheap knockoff of a superior operating system.

Tuesday, January 23rd, 2007Okay, I guess I haven’t been very good about keeping this blog updated… Busy times the past few months with job, school, and the book, which will be out mid/late February.
I’ll try hard to keep this blog updated more.
