Do Massachusetts Democrats Ever Pay Their Taxes?

By Matt Margolis | February 2, 2006

The Massachusetts gubernatorial race has been rocked over the past few days over the revelations that presumed Democrat frontrunner Tom Reilly’s handpicked running mate, Marie St. Fleur, is a tax delinquent. The revelation resulted in her dropping out just a day after she was picked. Adding to the drama, Deval Patrick, another gubernatorial candidate for the Democrats, revealed that he too, was a tax delinquent.

Now, this leads me to ask two questions… First, are the Democrats trying to keep the Massachusetts governorship in Republicans hands? And second, do Massachusetts Democrats ever pay their taxes?

    Matt,

I’m from western Mass. - well originally anyways. It is clear, that despite the incredible concentration of universities there - it is the stupidist state (excuse me -commonwealth) in the country.

Teddy Kennedy drunk drives his date to death and doesn’t report the accident until TEN hours later. Oh well, lets make him a senator.

The “big dig” spends billions digging a tunnel trhough mud. But, much is lost to graft and bridges and roads throughout the rest of the state go to ruin.

The once great manufacturing base is long gone. In its wake is a series of gritty drug infested cities with dismal economic outlook.

So - why do we care about Massachusetts?
