Can someone explain to me what the big deal is with the TV show 24? I’ve never seen it.

I watched it 2 or 3 times and I was LMAO at it, because it’s so FAKE it’s hilarious…

I think it’s a *chick* thing, they seem to think Kiefer Sutherland is *HOT*…

Well, if that’s the premise, it’s lost on me… Ol’ Fred just don’t swing that way…

    Jo’s Cafe has a re-cap of 24. http://joscafe.com/2006/01/16/24-7-to-9-am/

I never bother with it - but the “other half” does! Who knows what people will waste/spend time doing these days!

I think it’s a great show (I guess that makes me part of the “other half”). To answer the question, the big deal is that it takes place in near-real time, so that each episode is one hour and the whole season takes place over the course of a day. This means there is a cliffhanger at the end of almost every episode and makes for a very addicting (if sometimes unrealistic) show. The producers are also not afraid to surprise you, killing off main characters and the like, although some seasons have been more predictable than others.

Don’t you ever speak bad about 24 again.

I watched it for the first time last night, and enjoyed. It did have its unrealistic moments. I should probably see the first seasons to know what is really going on.
