    Matt’s Alive! He’s A-L-I-V-E !!!

On the “compromise”, yes - we’ve been compromised. When the framers wrote the Constitution - there were no parties. A majority of the Senate, was a majority. The minority lost. But, it was on a vote-by-vote basis. They didn’t mindlessly stick together like today. Now, it looks a lot like Washington just before the War Between the States.

Well, we’ll see. You’d think that the 527’s that arose after the McCain-Feinstein debacle would have taught McCain a lesson. (That he doesn’t know what he’s doing) I hope he doesn’t expect us to vote him into the presidency some day.

If you believe the polls, McCain is the most popular man in the Senate, despite him being the fundies’ whipping boy ever since that preposterous lie the Bush campaign put out in 2000 McCain’s adopted daughter from Bangledesh really being a bastard mulatto from an adulterous affair with a Black whore. Why would McCain capitulate to the “ban thong bikini bottoms and burn books” crowd? They already hate him no matter what.

The whole push for banning the filbuster was Frist pandering to the religious right to prop up his chances for President in 2008, so he had to push for this after the Terry Schiavo debacle. The Dems didn’t win anything then and they didn’t in anything yesterday, but the furious raging from the religious right this morning signals the end of Bill Frist’s presidential ambitions.

    Jay,

What Communist country do you live in?

It’s a country headed by a do-gooder liberal who believes in big government, deficit spending, massive illegal immigration, censorship, federally-funded drug programs, and nation-building.
