Michelle Malkin Goes On Tour
Our friend Michelle Malkin is going on tour promoting her book “In Defense of Internment” which I finished last week. It is a really great book, tons of information, well researched, and does an amazing job of presenting another look at history (one that is actually factually accurate as opposed to politically correct)
So Michelle, when are you coming to Boston?

Her book is great! This is an era in America history that has largely been lost to liberal myth, and some outright lies. READ IT!
Well, Bush let’s see if Bush vetoes it.

In his seemingly neverending quest to end overtime pay, Bush is now threatening a veto on the House rejection of the new overtime rules. You’d think he’d let it go, at least until after the election. But no, him and his fatcat puppeteers can’t stand the idea of you making any money.
“Some call you the haves and the have mores. I call you my base.”
Jay,
To tell you the truth – I can’t figure this new set of rules out. The set of regulations is pretty complex. Can you explain how you think the new rules work? And hence, why you are against them?
It is confusing. From what I understand. If you make over $23660 a year (and I do) you don’t get overtime pay.
Bottom line, I don’t think overtime needs to be tinkered with, and I’m suspicious of any overhaul. If 22 Republicans are defecting over to vote against Bush then there is reason to be suspicious.
