Wednesday, July 21st, 2004Democratic vice presidential candidate John Edwards said Wednesday that if elected, he and ticket-mate John Kerry would bring real American values back to the White House.
“Our campaign is going to be a celebration of real American values,” Edwards told a crowd of around 150 who paid $1,000 each to hear him speak at a fund-raiser in a Manhattan hotel.
I guess associating with liars and thieves is the embodiment of “real values.”
Dems Blame Republicans Over The Timing of The Berger Story Leak
Wednesday, July 21st, 2004How sad.
How pathetically sad it is that the best Democrats can do to avoid the potential fallout of the Berger Pants-Stuffing Incident that they have to question the timing of the leak!
Instapundit has been all over this story with relevant links and insight…
And this whole thing makes Clinton laugh…
UPDATE: John Kerry manages to point the finger at…. Everyone but former advisor Sandy Berger!!!
UPDATE: There is definitely more to this story… The Democrats are on overdrive damage-control here, throwing anything they can back towards Republicans and the White House. Did partisan act by Berger backfire and now they’re trying to shift blame towards Republicans over “the timing?” Are the Democrats worried because of Berger’s connections to the Kerry campaign?
UPDATE: Michelle Malkin points us to Byron York’s article on “Trousergate”, explaining Berger’s interest in the millenium-plot report.

Don’t Act All Surprised…
Monday, July 19th, 2004I first caught the news from Kevin’s post at Blogs For Bush :
John Kerry’s chief foreign policy adviser, Democratic Committee Platform member and someone seen as short-listed for a Kerry administration secretary of state, Sandy Berger, is being investigated for removing classified documents and keeping them from the 9/11 Commission
Michelle Malkin also has a bunch of links…

Sex Offenders For Kerry II
Friday, July 16th, 2004This story here really puts my post “Sex Offenders For Kerry” into perspective:
Town police are looking for a man who sexually groped two women in a mall parking lot last week.
The incidents July 8 happened within minutes of each other in the same area of the Poughkeepsie Galleria Mall, police said.In the first incident, Lisa Hayes of the Town of Poughkeepsie was with her children and about to get into her car about 12:30 p.m. when the man approached her.
”I was putting the stroller in the trunk and was walking to get in the car and all of a sudden, I felt a presence behind me,” she said.
Startled, Hayes said she pulled back as the man reached for her hand while peeling off homemade John Kerry stickers he was carrying.
”He was saying, ‘Are you going to vote for Kerry?’ ” Hayes said. ”He started sticking them on my breasts and feeling them.”
Hayes said she punched the man in his arm and he ran away laughing. She hurriedly got in her car, drove toward the mall security entrance and reported the man to security.
You can’t make this stuff up.
Air America Continues To Fail
Friday, July 16th, 2004MID-DAYS NYC: LIMBAUGH 4.8 SHARE [WABC] SMASHES ‘AIR AMERICA’ 1.7 SHARE [WLIB] IN ALL LISTENERS [12+]…
‘AIR AMERICA’ FADES MONTH TO MONTH: 2.2 SHARE APRIL DEBUT, 1.7 SHARE IN MAY, 1.2 SHARE IN JUNE…
Just think how liberals were saying “Air America is beating Rush…” and all that jazz… D’oh! Many conservatives, including myself warned them they’d fail in talk radio… What’s really sad is that considering this is an election year, Air America had its best shot now…
How pathetic.
Go Jenna…
Tuesday, July 13th, 2004
More Bush Twin Eye Candy… and an interesting look at the First Twins and First Family:
Jenna said her parents have the “best marriage,” citing as proof that “my dad thinks my mom’s funny even though she’s really not — she’s cute, she has funny quirks.”
Jenna said her mother would tell them to clean their bedrooms. “I call her OCD (obsessive-compulsive disorder) to her face, but I’m glad now because some of it’s rubbed off on me,” she said.
There has sometimes been tension between Bush and the media over coverage of his daughters, especially when both had run-ins with the law over alcohol three years ago.
In an incident in Austin, Texas, in 2001, Barbara was sentenced to perform community service and attend an alcohol awareness class, while Jenna, who had been found with a false ID, was fined $600 and lost her driver’s license for 30 days.
The only “drink” referred to in the Vogue interview are soy lattes, which the twins get at Starbucks .
Oh yeah, my kind of gals! Starbucks…
