Left-Wing Domestic Terrorists To Try Disrupting RNC
By Matt Margolis | July 12, 2004
Fringe liberals are hoping to disrupt the GOP Convention in New York this summer by trying to fool bomb sniffing dogs on trains and throwing marbles under the hooves of police horses - even pelting the horses with the marbles…
I was enraged when I read this. Strangely, I didn’t hear it on FOX, or saw it on Drudge… I found out about this story when Paul at Blogs For Bush wrote about it. Imagine if the situation were reversed, and right wing extremists were going to attempt to sabotage the DNC in Boston — outrage. Pure outrage. The worst thing is, these fringe types are what the Democrat party’s mainstream is becoming. Slowly but surely, the Democrat party continues to shift further and further to the left and they become increasingly vocal and violent.
These fringe liberals are domestic terrorists. Make no mistake about it. These people should be treated as such.
INCITE knows what I’m talking about. Sissy and Michele share my disgust.

people “on the fridge” are usually idiots in general period. Doesn’t matter what side they come from.
Nothing wrong about being vocal, and I’d like you to show how the mainstream democratic party is becoming more violent.
There’s always going to be lunatics on both sides of the spectrum. Makes me glad I don’t belong to a political party
July 12th, 2004 at 11:46 pm
To say the Democratic party is moving more to the left is just stupid. They’ve hugged the center ever since Jimmy Carter and Clinton only reinforced it, actually making the party become center right. A fringe is a fringe, these are malicious idiots who should be dealt with harshly.
July 13th, 2004 at 2:00 am
I refuse to accept your “everyone has wackos” premise above. The hate that the liberals are spewing these days makes them as culpable as Milosivich was in Yugoslavia in these matters. People in responsible positions MUST understand that when they preach the kind of hatred they are saying about Bush and the Republicans, weak minded will act upon it.
July 13th, 2004 at 2:57 am
Yeah, are we forgetting that Bush and his supporters are preaching the same hatred towards Kerry? I mean, you must be REALLY forgetful, because there’s a topic ALL ABOUT Bush supporters protesting Kerry at his convention. It had the flipper pic, remember? Oh, but that’s alright. Right?
Look, I hate to burst your bubble, to both parties are filled with wackos. It’s true? Don’t believe me? Then you’re blind, simple as that. And you’re blinding yourself.
I hadn’t heard about this until now. The one I HAD heard about was the one where people would line up and ring bells.
Dear GOD, those wackos are ringing bells! We gotta get rid of them!
July 13th, 2004 at 3:03 am
Add:
No wackos on either side? I suppose it’s all those crazy ass liberals who bomb abortion clinics, aye?
July 13th, 2004 at 7:19 am
Hey, Matt…You’ll be glad to know FOXNews is all over the story this morning. Brian Kilmede is interviewing NYC Police Commissioner Ray Kelly even as we speak!
July 13th, 2004 at 10:33 am
Marbles being chucked at horses, hmmm, well, that is assault on an officer, an arrestable offense, just a little info for you all out there. I like it, the left always wants the approval of everyone else, of the UN, of Europe, but when it comes to americans approving of americans, what do they do? they engage in domestic terrorism. These morons on the left have to realize that the people in the UN and in europe deal with terrorism on a daily basis, I mean, just look at what happened in the phillipenes yesterday, a philipino truck driver was kidnapped by muslim fundamentalists, (you know, the preachers of the religion of peace) and demanded that the president pull his troops from Iraq. Sadly, the Prez is complying. Terrorism, wheather to disrupt the political process, or to acheive a task is still terrorism. To comply with terrorists is to only invite more terrorists to attack you, your borders, your language and your culture, be it from fundamentalists, extremists, or from people who want to make nicey nicey with everyone around the world and live with compromised security. I hope that the American Legal System takes care of these domestic terrorists the way they should be treated: As traitors committing sedicious (excuse spelling) acts against America during a time of war.
July 13th, 2004 at 10:47 am
hmm you’re saying the Dems are going to plant bombs on trains. How lame of you losers.
July 13th, 2004 at 11:44 am
is anyone saying that todd?
July 13th, 2004 at 12:17 pm
umm yeah that’s what you’re implying mAtt.
July 13th, 2004 at 12:46 pm
no, i said the actions described in the article are equivalent to domestic terrorism.
terrorism isn’t just about bombs and explosions kid.
July 13th, 2004 at 4:07 pm
You guys seem to think that the left is made up of only fringe groups.
Both parties have idiots and lunatics in them. I mentioned the attacks on abortion clinics earlier. Wanna know the difference between that and this? This fringe group isn’t trying to kill anyone.
Guess what? EVERY group has crazies. Republicans and Democrats. And it’s not just in politics, too. Religions are filled with wackos. To say “Islam isn’t the religion of peace, they all just wanna kill people!” only shows your ignorance.
Now, did you say that? No. But Yoni hinted very, very strongly towards it. If I’m wrong, then correct me. But it sounds very much so like you believe all Muslims to be terrorists. If so, you are a fool, simple enough.
July 13th, 2004 at 5:57 pm
The continueing drumbeat of hatred from the fringe and the MAINSTEAM liberal elite is inciting violence pure and simple. It is how Hitler came to power and how Milosovich stayed in power.
July 13th, 2004 at 6:23 pm
Oh, that’s right! Hitler was a Democrat!
(sarcasm)
I hear more hatred from you than from any Democratic site.
July 13th, 2004 at 6:30 pm
Funny, the mainstream liberal elite are inciting hatred and violence, yes?
And here I thought ringing the bells and shouting “No” was farily peaceful.
I don’t recall seeing a Kerry commercial saying “The republicans are the source of all our problems! Get rid of them!”
Sorry, but…well, there goes that theroy
July 13th, 2004 at 7:46 pm
Wrong Wrong Wrong - The left did not argue against the war. And FYI with the information they had then they would have been wrong to. But, thats besides the point. The liberal elite IS vicously attacking Republicans - Americans. George Bush is more dangerous than Osam Bin Laden? The Michael Moore travesty - OK they didn’t say it - but NONE of the elite has disowned it. And they embrace him and his lies. This hatefest at Radio City music hall. Hillary calls GW the most radical conservative (funny, I wonder if she remembers thats what they called the abolitionists?). Yet - he has caved on so many issues with them and even worked with Teddy K on the education bill? What did it get him? NADA. The left has no ideas. ONLY finger pointing and hatred. And, yes - I’m sick of it. THIS is why you will lose in the fall. Will it finally shut you up? I hope so.
July 13th, 2004 at 8:05 pm
Both democratic and republican elite hate each other. This is why I’m against political parties-it creates unnecisary conflict and party loyalty.
Saying the left has no ideas is like saying the right has no brains. More idiotic generalizations.
And, on Moore, if you opened your eyes you’d see that a lot of liberals didn’t see the movie and are against it. Why? Because they KNEW that is would only be overstating evidence and sensationalizing assumptions.
You really need to do your research better.
July 13th, 2004 at 9:27 pm
A lot of liberals don’t support Moore - but NONE of the lefty elite have disowned him. That is the same as supporting his arguments.
And wrong about my saying the left has no ideas - they don’t.
Let me know how far off I am:
Education - they passed the no child left behind act with the republicans then stabbed them in the back over it.FYI - the scholl district that spends more than ANY OTHER SYSTEM in the country is DC - NO reasonable person wants their kids to go there - least of all the liberal elite. Think the Clinton kid, or any other dem leader kid is in that system? think again)
Defense - They destroyed the CIA, DIA, NSA, and the rest of the intel community and we are reaping the terrible reward.
Environment - The Republicans have offered a fair and reasonable agenda. The left wants smoke coming out of smokestacks to be cleaner than the air that went in!
Economy? Looks like its doing OK - Remember this quote from June 28 of this year? “We are going to take things away from you for the common good” Hillary Clinton. Hmmm, yes taxes are the answer - thanks Mrs. Clinton.
Social issues: Don’t kill murderers, stifle speach if it offends anyone in the lefty coalition, Let the gays marry, and take everyones guns away (remember Moores OTHER propaganda movie? Bowling for Coloumbine?), and let the women kill their unborn babies, and oh yea - screw the evil Boy Scouts for daring to stand up for their priciples and the right of association. What an agenda!
July 13th, 2004 at 10:00 pm
And yet you provide not a single link or newssource to show where you get these “facts.”
Education: How did they stab No Child Left Behind? What was said by Kerry was that Bush didn’t use it correctly. It says so on Bush’s own website. Read my comment on that here: http://www.mattmargolis.com/blog/index.php/archives/2004/07/13/edwards-kerrys-not-a-flip-flopper-because-he-was-in-vietnam/#comments
Defense: show me where you got this information. I can’t debate if you make things up. “It’s common sense!” doesn’t count. Educate me.
Enviroment: I don’t know WHAT you were even trying to say here. The left wants the smoke to be “cleaner then the air it goes into?” Sorry, but where do you live? I’ve visited Boston, Philly, New York, and I live near LA. The air could and should be a LOT cleaner then it is.
Economy: I don’t know crap about the economy, and I’ll be the first to admit it, so I can’t argue here.
Social Issues: Don’t kill murderers? Show me where that’s been said.
Stiffle speach? Obviously you want to stiffle negative slurs. I don’t walk around saying “nigger” or “wetback.” And really, one would think that’s the nice thing to do. Of course, if you meant something else, I couldn’t tell. You didn’t give and support links.
Let gays marry: Name what’s bad about homosexual marrige. In fact, name one legal reason why it shouldn’t be allowed. That means no listing religious reasons. The US isn’t a religious nation, and I still can’t understand why people think it’s a christian one. Frankly, I think politics should keep it’s head out of marrige period. That way there’s no more mess at all.
Take everyone’s guns away: Once again, list your sources. I can’t debate when you give me nothing to debate about.
Let the women kill their unborn babies: And if an abortion is neccisary in order to save the mother? Or do we just let her die? Oh, and if a woman is raped? Do we force her to raise a child she shouldn’t be having, and might not be able to take care of? Besides, if it were outlawed, do you think abortion would just disapear? They always HAVE happened, and they always WILL.
Screw the evil boy scouts: I know you might be tired of hearing this, but list your sources. I have no clue how they’ve screwed the boy scouts. I used to BE one, and I didn’t hear anything about this.
You know, I have yet to hear a conservative disown Fred Phelps. Guess they all support his arguments too. And how about all those abortion bombers? By your logic, the conservative elite support those murderers you want to kill so badly.
July 13th, 2004 at 10:22 pm
Kyle - I’m sorry - what links have you provided. I was not building a court case. If you want links - you supply some.
July 13th, 2004 at 11:00 pm
Um, actually, you’re the one on the offense. It’s your responsibility to give links so I may actually give a decent response.
What you’re doing is basically trying to attack without a weapon, in a metaphorical sort of way.
July 13th, 2004 at 11:19 pm
Well actually, I’m saying that the left is a wacko hate machine with no agenda outside of hatred (and profiteering). You chose to dispute this. Here are some hate links for you to peruse.

Well actually - I’m saying that the left is a hate filled bunch of wackos with no real agenda outside hatred and profiteering. You chose to disagree - you prove it. Tell me what their agenda is.
I say that they preach hatred and make references to republicans like killer and monster and so forth - and that their non-stop hate message is having an effect on the weak minded. Does this seem far fetched to you? The power of propaganda?
July 13th, 2004 at 11:26 pm
Kyle - tried to post several links - but I must have set off a blocking trigger - do a google on “liberal hate” if you care to…
July 14th, 2004 at 12:22 am
My problem is that you make it seem like it was one sided.

here’s just a taste.
Any idiot can look up links and see “OMG THEY HATE ME!” or “OMG THEY HATE SOME1 ELSE!”
Here’s this: http://www.scalzi.com/w020322.htm
What’s their agenda? Hell, like they agree on anything. And “the right” doesn’t agree on anything either. They arn’t two big superpowers, they’re groups made up of a lot of people.
Just like the world isn’t black and white, it also isn’t blue and red. There is no “us” and “them.” There’s just people, and if you forget that, then all you’re doing is spreading more hate.
July 14th, 2004 at 12:51 am
OK - so you ask for links and call me an idiot for looking some up - heres a friendly F U buddyboy.
July 14th, 2004 at 2:19 am
I was looking for links that directed me to news groups. Not links to random people ranting on how much liberals hate republicans.
July 14th, 2004 at 12:56 pm
Kyle - Here’s aquote to illustrate my point.
JULIAN BOND, CHAIRMAN, NAACP: Their idea of equal rights is the American flag and the confederate swastika flying side by side. They draw their most rabid supporters from the Taliban wing of American politics .And now, they want to write bigotry back into the constitution.
Now, can you imagine that they are now mad the GWB won’t go meet them?
July 14th, 2004 at 3:39 pm
Kahn, who’s “they” and what’s the source?
July 14th, 2004 at 3:48 pm
I’m sorry, but I think a person has a right to be a bit pissed off at a president who IS trying to write bigotry into the constitution.
That being said, you’re missing my point. Of course some people on the left hate the right. Some people on the right hate the left. You’re one of them. That doesn’t mean ALL of them do.
From what I’ve seen of a lot of your posts, you have a real problem with making generalizations. You seem to have some kinda NEED to divide the world into two seperate groups. I’m sorry, but it doesn’t work that way.
July 14th, 2004 at 11:32 pm
Sure Kyle - I make generalizations. I’m saying that the left is encouraging violence with the steady drumbeat of hatred. You, like most of the leadership on the left participate in that hatred by letting it be done in your name and not condeming it. Do I hate the left? Well, I hated communisism. I hated the Serbians, I hated Saddam - the left is looking more and more like them everyday (you know - the inciting violence and justifying it with statements like “I think a person has a right to be a bit pissed off at a president who IS trying to write bigotry into the constitution.” So - you REFUSE to condemn this hateful statement and you justify the hatred and anger. Look in a mirror buddy.
July 15th, 2004 at 12:18 am
When did I say I hate Bush? I don’t hate him. I don’t hate people much as a general rule.
But I don’t think he’s been a good president. There’s a difference. Am I angry at Bush? Yes. Everyone gets mad. Can you honestly tell me that you don’t get angry at the left? That you don’t hate the left? And, by posting here, don’t you spread that? What makes you different, then?
Now, how do I let them do it in my name? I’m an independent. That means nothing is done “in my name,” unless I’m the one doing it.
Interesting you should mention hating communism, since I have yet to meet someone who hated the actual idea of communism. Sure, a lot of people thought they do, but it turned out they hate what was being done in communism’s name. There has not, to this day, been an actual communist nation-just “psuedo-communisms.”
Oh, and I never ONCE incited violence. I’m actually somewhat of a pacifist. I don’t fight or use violence unless in the defense of myself or others. Nor do I advocate it. I’m a naturally curious fellow, so could you point out where I was inciting violence?
July 15th, 2004 at 4:04 pm
reread my post. You refuse to condemn statements inciting violence. Don’t know if the motivation is hatred or ignorance.
July 15th, 2004 at 4:26 pm
Fine then: I officially condom the violence that may be done in New York, as well as those who are inciting it.
I’m all for the whole ringing bells thing. But assulting the police and stuff is just crap.
Of course, if you read my posts, you’d see that I was against the violence from the start. I suppose you just wanted me to make it official, eh?
July 15th, 2004 at 9:33 pm
Kyle, I assume you meant “condemn” not “condom”?
July 15th, 2004 at 10:28 pm
My spelling his horrible, and I’ll be the first to admit it :p
But yes, I did mean that
July 15th, 2004 at 10:43 pm
hehe, no worries.. just found it funny.
July 16th, 2004 at 12:50 am
Cool,
Now lets - together see if we can get the Democratic leadership to do the same!
July 17th, 2004 at 11:52 pm
“I’m sorry, but I think a person has a right to be a bit pissed off at a president who IS trying to write bigotry into the constitution.”
Um, someone else is trying to redefine the concept of marriage as it has existed for centuries. Who is the extremist here? You’re on the wrong side of fence on this one. As if marriage originated in our culture out of any means except raising a family.
July 18th, 2004 at 1:06 am
Actually, the mistake here is to define marrige period.
Several churches were wedding gay and lesbian couples together. Remember the Episcopalians?
So who decides what’s “ok” and “not ok” when there’s a culture clash between two factors in one religion?
And a bigger question: why does the government have to be involved period? Here’s an idea: get the government out of marrige PERIOD. That way, if you’re pissed, you can just go picket like everyone else does.
February 13th, 2005 at 2:04 am
You mean, soon the Democratic Party will have the same ideology as the weather underground? Listen, an extremely small percentage of protestors want to do stuff like that, destruction and fooling bomb sniffing dogs. Mostly its Black Bloc Cells that are pissed they can’t get full on riots going like in Seattle.
