Happy 58th Dubya!

By Matt Margolis | July 6, 2004

George W. Bush turns 58 today!

In honor of his 58th birthday, I am donating 58 dollars to the campaign and I hope everyone who wants to see the economy continue to improve and the war on terror continue to be fought will donate to the Bush campaign as well!.

    An excellent idea. Thanks!

By the way — your RSS link seems to be broken.

you want the war to continue to the point where you ask your viewers to give money to feed the war machine? Holy shit Matt.

Heh, funny idea on giving that number. You know, I would’ve liked this post a lot were it not for the propaganda you added :p

What, may I ask, is so funny about that?

I’m getting the vibe that someone doesn’t even know what propaganda is.

I know what propaganda is, but saying he shouldn’t have had the propaganda when it is dealing directly with an election. That is like saying you can’t talk about baseball when you are discussing buying a ticket to a baseball ballgame.

You obviously didn’t read my post.

I was commenting on how funny it was to donate $58 on his 58th birthday. In a good way. Because I think it is rather cute and funny. Go you guys.

Then I referred to the bit on the economy and the war on terror, and how honestly, it didn’t need to be there-it was some what of a side jab.

Now, correct me if I’m wrong here, but the main point of this post is about Bush’s birthday, not the election, yes? Therefore, the propaganda didn’t need to be there.

I would guess that the main point was donating money to the ELECTION on his birthday. But hey, I have been wrong before. :)

Sorry Kyle, didn’t mean to yell, didn’t look so “loud” when I typed in the box.

See, that’s the thing-it was about the birthday, and donating the same amount of money to the campaign.

The little “war on terror” and “economy” bit there looks like it was thrown in half-hazardly.

Oh, and no prob, I didn’t take like you were angry or anything ;)
