Bush: “My Resolve Is The Same …”
By Matt Margolis | February 18, 2004
What’s the key difference between Bush and the Democrats?
Bush actually cares about fighting the war on terror.
Today, while visiting troops at Fort Polk, Bush said:
“The enemy will be defeated. My resolve is the same as it was on the day when I walked in the rubble of the twin towers.. I will not relent until this threat to America is removed.”
I don’t know what the Democrats care about anymore except winning elections… which, I will say, they are not getting any better at.

Matt, did you notice the headline? Yep, those troops sure looked “demoralized”. I’m sure the resident trolls er, moonbats, er, the distinguished folks of the Left will drop in to say that the troops are “demoralized” on the inside. That along with a “Quagmire!” here and an “Bush was AWOL” there.

Demoralized? No
but there’s no limit to the amount of “enthusiasm” one can have.

You Want A Reason? Here’s One.
All you need to do to figure out who you will vote for in November is read this article about President George W. Bush’s visit to troops in Louisiana.
“My resolve is the same as it was on the day when I walked in the rubble of the twin towers,” Bush said. “I will not relent until this threat to America is removed. And neither will you.”
That’s enough said. Now, is there anything else you need to hear?

After World War II the United States basically told The House of Saud that we would let them do as they pleased so long as they turned on the oil. At the same timemade a deal to placate Islamic fundamentalists decades ago. They agreed to fund Islamic schools throughout the Middle East. It’s those schools that preach hatred of America and it’s where the terrorism is spawned. Now I know Bush supporters all love Saudi Arabia and consider it an ally in our war on terrorism, but as long as Bush gives them a free pass while keeping our borders wide open and allowing Afghanistan to fall back into chaos the war on terror is a sham. You don’t fight a war on terror by cutting funding for cops and firefighters and making sure our ports are unguarded. Does anyone even remember it was Osama Been Forgotten who headed up 9/11? It wasn’t Saddam Hussein and his nonexistant WMDs.

Rather than waste time pointing out the numerous factual inaccuracies in Jay’s last statement, I would like to know how the democrats would fix these alleged problems. The Donks and their Kool-Aid drinking bretheren are always ready to point fingers and complain but NEVER offer solutions other than vague generalizations.
