Kerry Is Really Shoveling It
February 17th, 2004
Kerry, who’s recently whined about his record being attacked by the Bush campaign, has now come out and attacked Bush for his attendance as the Daytona 500 on Sunday.
“We don’t need a president who just says, ‘Gentlemen start your engines,”‘ Kerry said. “We need a president who says, ‘America, let’s start our economy and put people back to work.”‘
Funny, I’d like a Senator who actually votes for policies that help our economy and support the war on terror.
In another sad display, my other Senator, Ted Kennedy, who’s been campaigning with Kerry in Wisconsin told a crowd, “Do for him what you did for my brother… He’ll be a great president.”
Oh really? Is John Kerry going to cut taxes like John Kennedy?
I don’t think so.
So just how is Kerry planning to “put people back to work?” Does he think conjuring up memories of John F. Kennedy are going to make people vote for John F. Kerry?
Yesterday, Kerry made the following empty promises:
“When I am president, we will put jobs back on the top of the national agenda, and return prosperity to America. I will start by repealing the Bush tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans and blah, blah, blah, blah…”
Yeah, I guess I must be wealthy - how else can I explain the tax cut that I got? I think John F. Kennedy would be rolling over in his grave if he knew how his memory was being used by his brother and a JFK wannabe.

JFKerry plays the ‘race’ card….
OK… I am so ashamed…

Bush’s economic plan seems to be have Brazil as its model–a tiny pale elite and hordes of poverty-stricken masses all the while destroying the ecosystem. Maybe someday these NASCAR Dads will wake up and realize they’re the ones paying the skyrocketing costs of medical care, their jobs are the ones going to India or China (”It’s good for the economy to lose jobs” says Bush) or to illegal immigrants and they are the ones getting killed in Iraq. Then that $400 check they got last August don’t look so good anymore. Especially when we all have a $7000 debt on our head.
Cut taxes? Great. But if you cut taxes you cut spending too. I thought that was what conservatism was supposed to be about.
Oh, and this is completely off the subject, but I see another good American boy–maybe a NASCAR Dad–died in Iraq today. The right wing media of talk radio, NewsMax and Fox are handling the soldier’s death the usual way–ignoring it.

The funny thing is, there is nothing you could say about Kerry that would make him worse than Bush. There is no where to go but up after we get rid of the current dumbass in chief.
February 18th, 2004 at 12:27 am
Um Yeah,
EVERYTHING about Kerry makes him worse than Bush.
February 18th, 2004 at 4:49 am
Um Yeah spouts yet another inane blathering worthy of a sandwich-monkey and Jay regales us with more of the same tired moonbat rhetoric er, “talking points”. Why don’t you let us know what Kerry plans to do if he wins? How will he solve all these “disasters” that have us on the brink of doom? All I hear from the donks is basically “Things are terrible and we’re all going to die unless you vote democrat” and “Bush is eeeeevil!”.

Well, I can tell you that it looks like Iraq is going to erupt into civil war and all Bush is planning to do is “declare victory and go home” in time for his own election. So much for Iraq being the center of our war on terror. That move will neuter America in front of the world. And if we are at war, why the hell are our borders being kept wide open for illegal immigration? We can turn Iraq into a smoking crater the size of California and it won’t matter if anyone can cross into America anytime they want.
Look, calling Kerry Hanoi Kerry fires up those who spend all day listening to talk radio, but not Joe Sixpack. Everyone but right-wing extremists now know Vietnam was a mistake. Robert E Lee said you either commit yourself totally in war or don’t attack at all. You don’t do a half-ass war on the cheap with no plan B and no exit strategy, which is what happened in Vietnam and happened again in Iraq.
Besides, no matter how much the Hanoi Kerry rhetoric is spewed, the President AWOL rhetoric can be thrown right back. Bottom line–Kerry went to war, Bush went AWOL from a Daddy-appointed position in the Champagne Brigade(except to get paid and go to the dentist). Deal with it.

So you’re saying that Kerry will close the borders if elected? Yea, ok,suuuuure. Kerry is trying to backpedal out of this whole “Vietnam” business because the Vietnam Vets are coming out of the woodwork to voice their outrage over his antics with Hanoi Jane. You can airily dismiss this if you want, but this thing is going to blow up in Kerry’s face. The “Bush was AWOL” schtik has been debunked and beaten to death since 2000. The repeated harping about it is old and tiresome to your average Joe-SixPack. To him, it comes across as a desperate attempt to smear Bush. Kerry is starting to realize this, that’s why he’s trying to tell “Lord Terry” of the DNC to drop it. Of course “Lord Terry” isn’t listening. Actually, if I were you, I’d be more concerned with the Clinton “behind the scenes” activity concerning this election rather than what the GOP is saying right now.

No they arent, No really a few Freeptards who may have served wont do a damned thing against Kerrys Band of Brothers. Besides Bush releasing his records means nothing if every other word is inked out.
February 19th, 2004 at 12:27 pm
wow, you really are an idiot UY.
February 19th, 2004 at 6:22 pm
“AWOL was debunked” sounds like Bush insisting we found WMDs last May. Just keep repeating that to yourself. It’s a great piece of ammunition. Hanoi Kerry will only appeal to mullets and fat, lonely guys who live with their mothers and call talk radio shows all day.
And no, I don’t think Kerry will close the borders, although he won’t ratchet up the illegal immigrant problem like Bush will. If he did it would never get off the ground. No one thinks Kerry is the Messiah like Bush supporters think Bush is the Messiah.

Kerry’s “Band of Brothers” will more resemble the “Boys in the Band”. That’s why Duh Yup is so turned on by them.

No one thinks Kerry is the Messiah like Bush supporters think Bush is the Messiah
Speaking as a Christian, I only know 1 messiah and Bush agrees with me. That’s what drives you crazy.
February 20th, 2004 at 12:56 pm
Don’t drag Jesus into it. You rejected Jesus Christ for Bush. Jesus never sent men to die for Halliburton shareholders.
February 20th, 2004 at 9:01 pm
“Jesus never sent men to die for Halliburton shareholders”
Oh my God! Is this for real?
Is this Um Yeah in disguise? Creating a stooge so far gone he even looks better?
Wow, I don’t think he’d even pass the Short Bus test.
February 27th, 2004 at 9:07 am
Well Jay, to correct your lame attempt at an insult, Hanoi Kerry will only appeal to old hippies and fat, lonely democrats like yourself who live with their mothers and troll conservative blogs all day. Try previewing your comments before you post, it will make you look like less of an idiot.
February 27th, 2004 at 9:09 am
By the way Jay, You’re the one who dragged Jesus into it. Your continual ignorance is astounding….
