Another Great Recipe from Cracker Barrel

By Matt Margolis | February 1, 2004

Kashei, over at Spot On, had a post today about Cracker Barrel, a fine eating establishment with a superb breakfast, and pretty decent Old Country Store as well.

I had a couple breakfasts at Cracker Barrel during my recent vacation to Florida. Buttermilk biscuits to die for…

Anyway, Kashei learned that Cracker Barrel has a PAC which gives over 90% of the money they raise to Republican candidates.

Ahh, that makes the food taste even better.

I would never have thought that Restaurants would have PACs…go figure. Anyone know if IHOP has a PAC? And if so, who do they give to?

Matt– I thought you would like to know about this, since you only trust Gallup polls.

Sen. John Kerry, the front-runner among Democrats vying for their party’s presidential nomination, leads President Bush in a head-to-head matchup, according to a CNN/USA Today/Gallup poll released Monday. Kerry 53, Bush 46.

Polls at this point don’t matter at all.
They’re only good for entertainment, and fodder for pundits.

Wow Cole, Kerry is ahead. Yep how about that. Looks like a donk in the House come Jan 21, 2005.

Oh one itty bitty tinsey problem. Bush hasn’t even started campaigning yet. Oh and there is one more small problem. There is no donk to campaign against. Tell you what, once your side decides which donk is going to lose in November then we will see Bush actually start to spend some money campaigning.

    Cole–

    Yawn.

Reagan was behind in the polls for the ‘84 election; Bush 40 behind in the ‘88 one.

Sorry if I don’t give a damn about this poll.

Speaking of how effective polls are … Dean polled as the front runner all the way until the votes were cast. Yep polls are just so on target right before an election.
