Left-Wing Activism in the Courts… Again.

By Matt Margolis | December 29, 2003

I pray that the Republicans get a 60 seat majority in the Senate soon, because we need to get good Judges in the courts, instead of despicable judges like Joseph DiClerico.

CONCORD, N.H. - A federal judge on Monday declared a New Hampshire law that would require parental notice before a minor could get an abortion to be unconstitutional.

This is absolutely ridiculous. There is absolutely no logic in letting children get abortions without parental notification…

The New Hampshire law requires abortion providers to notify at least one parent at least 48 hours before performing an abortion on a minor. The parent would not have to approve the abortion. Alternatively, the girl could asked a judge for permission, which would have to be granted if the girl was mature enough or the abortion was in her best interest.

This is a pretty loose law if you ask me. Attorney General Peter Heed argued in this case that this law gave judges “enough leeway to grant exceptions,” However, the petty excuse for a judge, Joseph DiClerico, chose not to recognize this:

“The attorney general has not explained how the judicial bypass provision would address the need for an immediate abortion to protect the health of the mother, and the provision on its face is insufficient to meet such a need,”

What a sick bastard.

And to make this whole thing even more tragic… Planned Parenthood - the ultra-left wing, abortions-for-anyone-and-everyone, radical group, provided several lawyers to handle this case… What did one these lawyers say in response to the law being struck down?

“We won,” said Martin Honigberg, one of several lawyers for Planned Parenthood (news - web sites) of Northern New England, which along with other opponents had sued to block the law.

We won?

Apparently this wasn’t about doing the right thing… This was about winning and losing… at least for Planned Parenthood.

Planned Parenthood isn’t interested in the right thing. They are interested in shovelling their agenda down our throats.

These people are sick. I’ve made this comparison before, but when I was in High School, I couldn’t even get an aspirin from the school nurse with a note from my parents until I turned 18. Judges like DiClerico think its okay for girls as young as 12 or 13 years old to have a dangerous medical procedure - leaving the child’s parents in the dark?

DiClerico’s claims to be concerned about protecting the health of the motherchild by striking down this law in order to provide the motherchild with an immediate abortion. So, apparently while the motherchild’s health is at risk, the parent’s don’t need to about it.

Thanks to the Democrats, our courts have become morally bankrupt.

I grieve for my country when I see the courts, the wielders of wisdom in this nation, so completely engulfed in a never ending spiral of moral depravity.

Alexis de Tocqueville, the French historian, wrote,“America is great because she is good. If America ceases to be good, America will cease to be great.”

It has always been our charge as citizens of the United States of America to govern ourselves. In Two European Perceptions of Democracy in the Age of Democratic Revolutions,” Tocqueville noted the consense over the republican structure in America, a strong sense of public responsibility, although public and individual interests were partially considered as affiliated. Religion can be included in the description of political culture, as he saw its function in contributing to political order more than the meanings of strong beliefs.

Thomas Jefferson said, “All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent.” This ruling is an absolute outrage!

Wow frank… that took you long enough.

It is unfortunate that sometimes republican presidents can nominate judges who are either liberal, or become liberal..

the best we can hope for is to have presidents who will strive to keep the courts as conservative as possible.

Took me long enough, took me 5 seconds to find that bit of information. Too much time for you to take to check your facts before posting obviously.

Speak for yourself. The best you can hope for.

This “frank” person sounds rather angry.

Speaking of delusional, I find amusing the “right wingers are hateful” schtick. It’s pretty old, unsupported by FACTS, and self-righteous, much like liberalism itself.

Keep up the good work Matt. The liberal mainstream media will never report the truth about the horror that is abortion, but thankfully us “hate filled” conservatives will.

That’s FaScist, with an “S” and it is defined as such…
a political philosophy, movement, or regime that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition.

I think this falls more into your belief structure than that of the liberal.

    hate is unsupported?

Rush limbaugh saying that democrats don’t even cast a reflection in mirrors. All he does is talk about how evil democrats are. Why? Because when you spend all of your time attempting to discount the opponent you don’t have time to discuss the issues. “Dean people suck”, isn’t hateful? insults and degredation is all you have to offer because you can not stand on the issues.

    Hitler was an evil dictator.
    Bush is a moronic puppet.

frank, that definitions of fascism lines up nicely with the liberal philosophy…

a political philosophy, movement, or regime that exalts nation and often race above the individual

    affirmative action.

and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader,

otherwise known as big government liberals and hillary clinton

    severe economic and social regimentation,

    liberal high taxes

    and forcible suppression of opposition.

liberal media. liberal hollywood. etc. etc.

you should learn to read frank.. if i had time i’d do a more extensive analysis of the definition.

Speaking of puppets, doesn’t frank realize that he sounds just like every other moronic puppet of the liberal democrat elitists? He constantly spouts the same tired insults and cliches that have been repeated ad nauseam by every leftist moonbat in the blogosphere. In the shriveled minds of the leftist moonbats, the venom and bitterness they spew are considered “enlightened pearls of wisdom”. Any opposing view is considered “hate-mongering”, no matter what the content. What guys like Limbaugh, Hannity, and Boortz are doing is merely giving the democrats a dose of their own medicine. It was ok for the moonbats/democrats to ridicule and criticize Republicans, but when the tables were turned, the donks are suddenly “outraged”.
