Did you know that back in February of 1998 Secretary of State Madeleine Albright said the following:
Iraq must permit UN inspectors to do their jobs, as the Security Council has directed. If this does not occur, we must be, and we are, prepared to use military force.
and this:
A peaceful solution remains our preferred option; but it must be a true not a phony solution. Make no mistake, if we use military force, it will be because Saddam Hussein has refused to accept a peaceful solution.
And William Cohen, former Secretary of Defense, said this regarding UN Weapons Inspections:
Saddam has delayed; he has duped; he has deceived the inspectors from the very first day on the job.
and this:
Our military goal would be to deliver a serious blow that would significantly diminish Saddam’s weapons of mass destruction, the threat, and reduce his ability to threaten his neighbors.

It’s things like that this that make you wonder… Bush had said the same things before we went into Iraq. However liberals protested, and are now calling him and his administration liars. Bill Clinton, Madeleine Albright, William Cohen, Tom Daschle, John Kerry, and former National Security Adviser Sandy Berger were all warning us about the threats of Saddam’s WMDs. Yet they meet no criticism today, and some choose to criticize the Bush administration themselves… for saying the same things today that had been said throughout the 1990s.
God I hate hypocrites.
