The Face of the Protester
By Matt Margolis | March 28, 2003
Isn’t it hypocritical for an “anti-war” or “pro-peace” protester to resort to non-violent ways of protest? The latest story on this issue “Protesters Throw Stones at National Guardsman” is yet another example of the hypocrisy of those portraying themselves as “anti-war” or “pro-peace.”
I may be pro-life, but I do not condone the killing of abortion doctors. So no one reading this post should try to make such a parallel. These protesters claiming to be against the war are not genuine pacifists. They are anti-American, anti-military, anti-Republican, and anti-Bush fascists.

While your position on protesters is simply put, it is just that. Protests have produced change and given the people, on both sides of the aisle, a voice often not heard by lobbists. Do not limit yourself to a narrow view, when every group and every person has a different reason to be heard. There are Pro-choice marches and there are Pro-life demostrations. Some are peaceful, some are angry and hateful. I would rather have the protests then one side silented. Democracy should be a rational compromise.
Bush is not a real Republican. Stand up for the wasteful spending and for the deficit. Stand up for the investors who gotten cheated in deals with Enron, etc.
All hoopla aside, doesnt the Republican party deserve better than this. I remember a different party than this disaster.
Its time for a debate in this country, between reds and blues, and find the compromise best for this country.
