Before I Go To Starbucks…

…here’s an article I wanted to share:

When the Ink Spots sang “I love the java jive and it loves me” in 1940, they could not have known how right they were. Coffee not only helps clear the mind and perk up the energy, it also provides more healthful antioxidants than any other food or beverage in the American diet, according to a study released Sunday.

Now it’s time for my venti dark roast…

Matt – turn off this noise again will you?

  4. mike says:

    Hmmm KAHN,
Asking once again when challenged to be turned off—-interesting—what happend to hearing everyones views?
Or do you not stand by that either? You only ant to talk with people who see the world as you would like it to be—embrace it and don’t be afrid of it.

You have said nothing coherent since returning from summer break. All you do is spout insults. You refuse to listen to arguments. You are the epitomy of the Democratic Party – a coward – hiding behind a made-up name on an Internet blog trying to sabotage honest discussion of issues.

Post us your real name and adress – and I’ll see you on the playground.

AGain just back up your rantings and ravings join or re join the service and I will be there to cheer you on. YOu will have then shown all of us along with Matt that what you write is what you are truly willing to believe in with your life. If not then proceed being full of crap- but seriously you are adorable when you are acting tough.I could just kiss you. Can you feel the love?

    Matt,

I like a (big)cup or two in the morning. But not after lunch. That being said – I’m partial to Starbuck’s Gold Coast blend. I used to like German coffee (wherever they get their blends – I have no idea). Some of the best coffee is from Viet Nam – but I’ve never found it here in the States.

  8. mike says:

Hmm no response to joining the service.Truly Matt I am curious why you would not sign up.

i couldn’t of said it better. it seems the people on the right that are so for this SO CALLED WAR, they just seem to not want to support it. i mean fellas if its such a good cause for america and the world. then join up, if not then you need to sit down. no these people would like to talk a good talk, you all want to bash the liberals and all, but HELLO its the liberals that are fighting and dieing in this war.

    don

  10. don says:

and if bush thinks that this is such a good and nobel cause, then why dosen’t he want his own kids to go over there. and why is it that all the ones that are on the right and in power, do they have thier own kids fighting over there. na, well just let the liberals, or should i say the POOR, MINORITY and such, the people that are dieing are on the left. so bash away about US LIBERALS, they die so you silver spoon fools dont have to.

  11. Kahn says:

Ahhhh – but read the Newsweek post (Not a conservative rag by any means). Conservatives ARE joining. Consevatives ARE re-enlisting. Conservatives do have, and will have real hands-on experience that Liberals will never have. You are slitting the wrists of your own party – and like all suicides – you are too wrapped up in your own misery to realize that you party will die as a result.

  12. don says:

ah my friend KAHN, you still haven’t answered the question. if BUSH thinks its a NOBEL cause, why isn’t the twins joining.

    don

  13. don says:

and another thing kahn, by any chance are you enlisted to go to iraq, if not when are you going to join, and if you are when are you leaving to go to iraq. cause by reading your post on this whole mess, to me it would seem you would be the first on over there.

if you want to back up your status on iraq i can give you my email address so you can prove that.

  14. Kahn says:

Don – you can obsess on them if you wish. They are not their father. They make their own choices and I doubt their dad would order them to do anything.

You should be looking at all the conservatives learning to shoot and lead in combat. Then – keep taunting them.

  15. Kahn says:

Don – you could actually read some posts before spouting your opinion. I was a Marine – but I’m too old now. I have many family members in the service now, and many neighbors.

But since you just popped in out of nowhere – I suspect that you are really Mike lieing again about your identity.

  16. Kahn says:

And No-one has said what they think about…..coffee.

  17. don says:

ah kahn, i cant get anything past you. if you want to believe that there is only one person on this earth that goes against what you think. go ahead. and i love your comment to matt, that he should shut up the people that dont agree with you.

Matt – turn off this noise again will you?

boy we dont like to have people around us that can give your rants a chance to be exposed as they are, just a bunch of garbage. i really do hope you can get the help you need.

and about the bush comment. i mean if the twins really respect what their father says and thinks then they would be the first to sign up. must mean that even they know what a fool he is. i mean if i really respected and believed in my father i would want to show him what a great man he is and sign up.

plus with the age thing, if the group of older woman are being called crazy cause they want to go over to iraq, i think it would be noble if you stepped up and made a point to tell the world what you believe and try to get back in. i mean they did up the age for enlistement, so im sure they could higher it again for you. i mean with all the kids being slaughtered, imm sure they need all the help they can get.

  18. Kahn says:

Mike – that sounds like really crappy coffee. I’d say it’s full of crap – could just be mixing with what comes out of your mouth though.

(FYI – Marine talk for you’re a dick). Now – go cut and paste you reply rant in ten different subject strings. One for each fake identity you use here. Oh – You personally know cabbies who refused to go near the towers? Report them to the FBI you lieing sack of crud.

Years ago – an NPR story about guns was so bad that it made me join the NRA. You vile filled mindless rants have forced me into a new decision – I’m going to start acting like you do – in liberal blogs. Oh – fogot – they don’t ask for opinion, they spout them. Unless I’m wrong? What liberal blogs could I read and comment on?

  19. mike says:

What do the rest of you think? Is matt being accountable and persoanlly answering the question. Hers the Update?

    Mike,

you don’t seem to get it. Your questions are predicated on the notion that support for a war should only be excerise by joining the military. Its a ridiculous assertion. No one in the military I’ve ever met who knew I supported the war said “Well, why don’t you sign up and join?”

Regarding question 3. Mike, you may not realize this, but we have a volunteer military.

    this stupid discussion is over.

    Matt,
Interesting comment. And I am sorry no one in the military asked you the “why don’t you sign up?” question. But it is being asked of you NOW and still you won’t or can’t answer specifically for yourself. Is it because you wish not give a definative answer to any of these difficult questions because later on in life you yourslef are considering running for office and you do not want your opinions to come back to haunt you. I’m just asking the questions. How come you won’t answer them for yourselfand for everyone who reads your Blog? Instead three times you have played advoidence and tried to diminish the discussion. Why would that be? My questions are numbered to make it easier to answer . And yes you are right about the obvious. The military is a volunteer service. The questions above still stand. As wel as the question of organizing a fund raiser or something for the troops and their families. C’mon Matt you seem to be attempting to act like a politician and scape goat any direct questions with an answer. The only difference is you are not a politician. WHy can’t you answer directly from and for yourself?

    mike

    Mike,

Why don’t you join the red cross or the salvation army? Oops forgot. Your job is to disrupt conservative blogs.
