I found it very interesting that the new Social Security Blog has decided to stop taking comments. It could be because 99% of the comments were against mr. bush and the christian reconstructionist plan for social security.
All I have to say to them is, If you can’t stand the heat, get out of blogging.
All I gotta say now is “Privatize, privatize, Privatize”!
While whiney assed Dems bitch about privatization of SS, they should remember (ahem…short term memory loss of anything that is more than 6-12 months ago is their speciality)that it was their own inept LynDUMB Banal Johnson that eliminated the SS fund and put SS into the general fund. That’s why it’s going broke, and now, that’s why it MUST be privatized. See??? Another Dumb-o-cratic mess that a Republican has to clean up!

The fact is, Social Security is in decent shape. For years now, and until 2018 (according to the Social Security trustees), the system will be running a surplus which is placed in government bonds. The US has never defaulted on these bonds and according to the 14th Amendment, it would be unconstitutional to do so.
Unfortunately we have a president who likes to cut taxes during a time of war. I know you think that it spurs growth, but the effects of tax cuts in that regard are minimal.
After Clinton’s (do you call him Clinturd?) tax increase, Republicans cried out that the economy would be ruined, yet revenues increased both in degree and in pace, than they did after Reagan’s tax cuts.

I hope that all conservative bloggers aren’t as ignorant and childish as what I’ve seen here.
