Joe...

Clinton never did win the majority of the vote.

Also, the Clinton investigation/impeachment was for his illegal activities -- lying under oath... hello?

"I don’t recall anyone who refused to call Clinton “President Clinton”"

I don't recall President Clinton losing the popular vote. Heh.

By the way, I do recall Republicans wasting 80 million dollars on an investigation into Clinton's sex life and wasting this country's resources while we were under a real threat from Islamic terror. Then when Clinton bombed Afghanistan, Republican leaders in Congress started talking about "Wag the Dog" which obviously impeded Clinton's resolve to go after Al Qaeda. See the 9/11 report.

Also, your reference to "leftist" blogs not conceding Ohio is just a creation of a strawman. Atrios, Drum and Kos have all said that there is no doubt that Bush got more votes than Kerry in Ohio (though some have said there were some irregularities that DIDN'T affect the election worth looking into). In fact, Kos had a post yesterday on the precise subject basically telling the far-left wackos to shut up about it already.

Toc, the problem with those ballots in King County was not only because these ballots were mysteriously found during the second recount, but that they were the only ballots that were allowed to be included post-election. no other counties were allowed to recanvas.

Is that the same as when the right refused to call President Clinton by his rightful title? As far as I have understood the entire state of Washington was recounted and the "mysterious ballots" were legitimate ballots that were wrongfully disqualified.

Ping Pong pining for the help of the "Ohio Crew" is disgusting. How can you be proud of the dirty, filthy effort to steal another election.

The thing that nobody on the right understands is that the left will come back into power eventually and then all of the rules that are being stacked against the Dems will come to bite you right in the ass!

Keep things fair and above board and you won't have to worry!

If Rossi had some help from the Ohio Crew, there'd be nothing to worry about now.

If anything, I'm a little upset that the RNC et al. have (apparently) not been strong enough in their support of his candidacy. At this point, he should just retire quietly into the background and open a dialogue with the higher-ups to figure out how to avoid this next time.

George, the problem was that once the Democrats decided to change the rules for King County, the right thing to do was to make it apply statewide.

Rossi has consistently argued in court that a victory for him is more important than a citizen's right to vote (they conceded validity of King Co. ballots TWICE in court, but argued against counting them) These votes included Dem, Rep, and Lib votes. How can a WA citizen expect him to look out for our rights?

Rossi flip-flops--Rossi is now worried that some military votes might not have been counted due to lateness or no postmark. his first court case argued against counting these votes--and he won that one.

As a state senator, Rossi voted for the current recount rules. yet, he has repeatedly cried foul and ran to court when he thought they could hurt his possible victory. was he not paying attention at his previous job, or does he just not have strength in his convictions?

It's time for Rossi to concede. Both the democrats and republicans were present during the recount. Let him try again in 2 years. It is time to move on.
